We have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager to significantly expand Primavera sales of Enterprise Project Management solutions into Japan.?
The Sales Manager must demonstrate the ability to drive and lead large enterprise sales to closure and to proactively drive Primavera's reseller channel at sales opportunity level.?
This role requires both Direct and Indirect sales skills and experience to sell the full set of Oracle Primavera solutions into the headpin accounts of our Target Verticals which are primarily Engineering and Construction, Utilities, Mining & Oil & Gas, Government & Aerospace/Defense, and Complex Manufacturing sectors.?
Reporting the PGBU JAPAC Sales Director, the Sales Manager will be responsible for leading the expansion and executing the growth plan of Primavera GBU in Japan.

Roles and responsibilities:

This role is pivotal in the generating new license business through both select target accounts and through channel partners.
Key areas of responsibilities include:
- Deliver to a territory sales target by building pipeline and driving new license sales.
- Build and execute a territory business plan to maximize Oracle Primavera?s market coverage across our Target Verticals
- Drive both Direct and Indirect sales opportunities and bring them to closure
- Work closely with the extended JAPAC team including Presales, Business Development, Alliance & Channel and Marketing in delivering the territory business plan
- Own sales forecast of the territory including direct and indirect business
- Drive partner focus and activities in up-selling and closing enterprise opportunities.?
Manage and drive collaboration with the broader Oracle xLOB?s
Required Skills

General Requirements:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience selling enterprise software solutions, either directly and/or with partner such as Global System Integrators.
- Software sales success in territory as well as experience selling into Primavera?s Target Verticals a must. ?
- Demonstrable ability in identifying, developing and closing enterprise sales opportunities.
- Experience selling under disciplined formal sales methodology a must - Solution Selling, Strategic Selling, etc
- Proven execution of good value proposition tools and activity in order to generate account interest a must
- Superior communication & preparation skills, strong technical aptitude, a relentless focus on objectives, an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction and an ability to execute on multiple priorities in this fast paced environment.
- Familiarity with project management software a plus
- Demonstrable focus on building long-term relations with key partners to leverage maximum revenues from a specific geography.
- Willingness to travel within territory is a must and to travel to US/UK as needs arise
Experience in developing business plans with partners is a plus.
